CHALLENGE - SIT SKI ON SNOWDON

Disability Skiing Wales is a club which aims to bring the joys of skiing to people with disabilities. It is a Registered Charity (Number 1126906) and is run entirely by unpaid volunteers.

All disabilities are catered for and some of our more challenged members require specialised equipment to help them achieve their goals. One such piece of equipment is a Sit Ski which enables a skier to ski on snow or artificial slopes without the use of their legs. It is highly specialised and costs £3500.

On 27th August 2016 a group of hardy volunteers will be carrying a Sit Ski to the summit of Snowdon to raise funds for a new sit ski. They will be tackling the Llanberis Path to the summit and back, a distance of 9 miles. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS EVER BEEN DONE!

Your contributions would be massively appreciated. Please donate in any of the collection boxes, or through www.virginmoneygiving.com (gift aid can be claimed). For more information please see our website on: www.disabilityskiingwales.co.uk

THANK YOU!
