FIS Licence Renewals

May 13, 2016

Any athlete of any snow sporting discipline who wants to compete internationally and was born on the year 2000 or before has to apply or re-apply for their FIS Licence before they are able to compete in any events for the 2016/17 season.

In order to gain a FIS Licence you need to be a member of your National Governing Body (in this case Snowsport Wales, obviously!) and any application made before June 30th will be significantly cheaper.

Your have to register through British Ski & Snowboard, BSS has put together a really informative article all about FIS Licensing.

You can apply for your FIS Licence here and you can register as a SSW member here.

SSW members get 10% off at Ski Racing Supplies which may well help with all those FIS events you’ll have coming up!
