Established in 1989, the 100m Slope and 50m Toboggan run, sees over 30,000 visitors at the Centre each year. Staff have always aimed to provide a high standard of customer service and offer private and group lessons, parties, ski school, ski and snowboard clubs and adaptive sessions – please visit www.urdd.cymru/llangrannog to see what’s on offer.
Things aren't only busy during the colder months, they have had a very full summer with tourists and day visitors taking full advantage of the facilities. Over the past few months the slope has benefitted from new equipment and over 200 brand new mats have been laid onto the slope, ensuring the best service to all customers.
Looking to the future there are plans to further develop the centre by expanding and resurfacing the nursery area, creating a new workshop to enhance growing ski maintenance provision and introducing a new quarter pipe/tabletop into the left hand side of the slope. This will link in very well with the regular ramp and rail freestyle sessions held at the slope.
Staff at Llangrannog are also looking forward to once again hosting the Welsh School Championships in October, we always get inundated with compliments on facilities and staff after any race held at the slope.
Whether you are trying Skiing or Snowboarding for the first time, or you just want to ramp up your skills, Llangrannog Ski Centre is a fantastic facility to do this.
Here’s to a cold, busy winter!
