On 5th November 2016 we’ll be running a Level 1 Training course specifically for 14-18 year olds at Pembrey Slope. Needless to say this is a must for anyone wanting to take gap years on the snow, whether you’d like to spend the season as an instructor, working in a chalet or on the lifts, this course will give any CV the edge it needs to ensure you get the job you want. It also sets you up for any future work you'd like to have in snow sports, coaching your team at uni, working out on the snow full-time, coaching at your local slopes during evenings and weekends...
It's also a really great experience. We caught up with Georgia, an attendee of the last course, to ask her how she found the weekend: “It was fun and interesting and it gave me a completely different outlook on people learning to ski. I also got to see the array of ways people learn; some visually, some physically. I learned a lot of things that I had forgotten since I learned to ski myself.”
Places are selling out fast so get in touch with Snowsport Wales’ Roxy Pullen on firstname.lastname@example.org. Candidates must be registered as instructors with the Coaching Scheme, the cost is £190 which also includes SSW membership fees for 2017. We were so encouraged by the feedback we received from the last course that we couldn’t wait to book in another. See you there!
