Coaching and Instruction

Become a Snowboarding instructor or team Coach

Many snowboarders enjoy the sport so much that they can’t resist trying to persuade others to give it a go, very often getting involved in teaching. Teaching snowboarding is very rewarding and helps to improve your own skills and performance as well. Centres are always looking out for instructors and are keen to assist in their development.

Snowsport Wales manages and delivers The United Kingdom Snowsport Coach Awards Scheme in Wales and as such provides a training and qualification programme for aspiring Instructors and Coaches wishing to work with skiers throughout the UK through Clubs, Ski Facilities and upon an individual basis. The courses are well recognised throughout Great Britain.

Starting up in the Coach Awards Scheme involves firstly registering with the Snowsport Wales Coaching Scheme: Join Online - Click here. The next step is to book onto a Level 1 Training Course and begin your training programme. The minimum age to be able to embark upon the Coach Awards Scheme is 16 years old.

In addition to any listed course we can also set up a course responding to local demand. If you can't find the course you are looking for please contact the office with your needs -
